Tanzanite - December Birth Stone

The exotic Tanzanite's colour ranges between a lush blue, vibrant violet and rich purple. This gorgeous gemstone is the December birthstone. 

Did you know, the name "tanzanite" reflects the gem’s limited geographic origin. The mines are all located in North Tanzania in an area of about eight square miles near the base of Mount Kilimanjaro and the city of Arusha.
